Even though I am completely biased, the rest of these beers are also amazing and will no doubt fulfill your pumpkin cravings this fall.
Pumpkinhead- Shipyard Brewing Company
(Alcohol Content: 4.6%)
In my opinion if you are going to be drinking pumpkin beer this fall, this is the only option. Do your best to put a cinnamon sugar rim for the full experience! Pumpkinhead runs out very quickly because of its popularity so make sure to pick some up as soon as possible.
Tastes: butterscotch, sweet malt, toffee, vanilla, very creamy, most like pumpkin pie

Punkin Ale-Dogfish Brewery
(Alcohol Content: 7%)
As the website proclaims, “A full-bodied brown ale with smooth hints of pumpkin and brown sugar. We brew our Punkin Ale with pumpkin meat, organic brown sugar and spices. As the season cools, this is the perfect beer to warm up with.”
Tastes: Nutmeg, toasted barley, raw pumpkin, molasses
Schlafly Pumpkin Ale- The Saint Louis Brewery
(Alcohol Content: 8%)
Here’s a little history on pumpkin ales, courtesy of the Schlafly website: “While pumpkin beers were produced in the early days of the American colonies, they were different from the pumpkin beers we know today. Colonists used pumpkin and squash as the fermenting medium, since malted barley was scarce. Once malt became more readily available, it replaced these alternatives to grain. In the 1990’s, American craft brewers reintroduced the style.”

Saranac Pumpkin Ale – Matt Brewing Company

The Saranac Pumpkin Ale is not only popular in the United States. The Pumpkin Ale, according to the Saranac website, won a gold medal at last year’s European Beer Star, considered one of the most important beer competitions worldwide.

Pumking- Southern Tier Brewing Company
(Alcohol content: 8.6%)
