The Hour: Norwalk Names Latino as New Superintendent

The search is over and Norwalk has landed a former National Superintendent of the Year as the leader of its schools.
Dr. Manuel J. Rivera will be the new superintendent of schools, pending approval of his contract, according to a press release sent Monday by the Norwalk Board of Education. The contract will be voted on at the BOE’s July 9 meeting. It is expected to be approved and Rivera will start his term on July 18.
