National Day of Action for Immigrant Justice — Where You Can March

This Tuesday and Wednesday, April 9-10, activists, immigrants and allies from around the country will march to demand comprehensive immigration reform from Congress as a part of the National Day of Action for Immigrant Justice.
April 10 has been designated as the official National Day of Action, however three of the four marches in Connecticut will be held on April 9.
Marches will be held in Hartford, Stamford, Bridgeport, Danbury and New Haven. Find more information on the march closest to you below. Click on each city for links to the march’s Facebook event page.
Hartford
Where: Old State House, 800 Main St.
When: Wednesday, April 10 3:30 p.m.
The march will begin at the Old State House. Marchers will walk south on Main Street, turn onto Capitol Avenue and meet at the Capitol steps.
Stamford
Where: Train Station, 490 Washington Blvd.
When: Wednesday, April 10 4 p.m.
The march will begin at 4 p.m. Marchers should meet at the train station.
Danbury
Where: Danbury Public Library Plaza, 170 Main Street
When: Tuesday, April 9 4 p.m.
The march will begin at Danbury Public Library and will continue on to Kennedy Park.
New Haven
Where: Corner of George and Church Streets
When: Tuesday, April 9 4:30 p.m.
The march will begin at 4:30 p.m. Participants should meet at the corner of George and Church Streets.
Bridgeport
Where: St. John’s Church, 768 Fairfield Ave.
When: Tuesday, April 9 4 p.m.
Participants should meet at St. John’s Church, on the corner of Fairfield Avenue and Park Avenue.
