Latin Music Gets Social With New Uforia App

music
The way you listen to Latin music just got an upgrade. The new Uforia music service and radio app, which will focus on curating music from Latin genres, will be available this summer.
Univison Communications, Inc. announced the launch of the app during Tuesday’s Billboard Latin Music Conference, according to Billboard.com.
President of Univision Radio Jose Valle said in a statement, Univision Communications is committed to continuing our legacy of bringing the most cutting edge entertainment to Hispanic America. . . we provide an unparalleled promotional platform for established and emerging artists while transforming the digital music experience for our audiences.”
Once it goes live, the app will allow users to experience all genres of Latin music through exclusive channels. Listeners can also customize their own stations by selecting from the app’s 20 million songs.
Delving even further into the user’s social experience, Uforia allows listeners to connect with others, see what they are listening to and directly recommend music to them.
