CTLatinoNews.com Supporting Healing Hearts for Newtown Children

Amid the sadness and grief over the tragedy in Newtown, a group of Hartford area communications professionals has banded together to take back the holidays for the children of Newtown. Healing Hearts is a community effort to collect gifts for the children of this grief stricken community. They will collect tokens of love and support for the children at locations in East Hartford, Hartford and Sandy Hook until Saturday, Dec. 22. The gifts will be delivered Monday, Dec. 24.
Healing Hearts is the brainchild of TV director and videographer Steve Sattler. Tom Russo of L&R Productions co-wrote a song with Paul Lombardo, “Till We See You Again” that supports the effort.  They will use radio,  traditional and social media and outreach to Latino communities to make the public aware of the drive.
West Hill Automotive and the Windsor Marketing Group are also providing donated transportation.
Anyone wishing to drop off new, unwrapped gifts as a gesture of community support can go to these locations:

  • Audio Media Solutions, 87 Church Street, East Hartford – Wednesday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Goodwin College, 1 Riverside Drive, East Hartford – Saturday, Dec. 22, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
