CRT's Marcos Martinez is serving healthy meals with a side of Latino culture

The Community Renewal Team (CRT) is once again providing free healthy meals throughout the summer.

Head Cook, Marcos Martinez leads the Summer Food Service Program in Hartford, an important initiative providing free breakfast and/or lunches to students during the critical summer months when school is not in session, and children are missing out on access to school-time meals.

Marcos, a Puerto Rican native has been part of the food assistance program for 25 years.

He invited CTLN to take a look at the teamwork it takes to serve communities in need.
