With the holiday season in full swing, people are in a giving mood.  Many people this time of year are thinking about charitable donations and giving back to the community.  But many charity-minded people struggle with how to best give back and how to help their neighbors. What will have the biggest impact? What can really make a difference? A great way to help your community and really make a difference in the life of a child is to donate your old vehicle – car, boat or motorcycle – in exchange for a tax deduction. Donated vehicles can be any age or condition, running or not running. By calling Donate Cars 4 Wishes, your old or unused vehicle will help grant the wish of a Connecticut child facing a life-threatening medical condition. After you call 1-844-WISH-123 or log on to www.dc4w.org your unwanted vehicle will be towed with 24-48 hours and you will receive a receipt for a tax deduction on your 2015 taxes!
Here’s what Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut’s president and CEO Pam Keough had to say about DC4W:
“Make-A-Wish Connecticut is excited to be the beneficiary of the Donate Cars 4 Wishes car donation program. The DC4W team is committed to helping make wishes come true for Connecticut children, with at least 70% of funds raised to be donated directly to Make-A-Wish Connecticut. This opportunity came to us through our long-standing relationship with Denny Gates, who has supported Make-A-Wish Connecticut for many years.”
